Wagakki Canada is an importer and distributor of Japanese musical instruments and holds no affiliation to any other third party marketting or sales organizations.

As a private distributor and importer of instruments, Wagakki Canada's policy regarding your privacy is one of strictly protecting your information to the limits of our ability to do so, within the confines as are necessary to process your requests and inquiries and to ship to you, the buyer. We do accept online payments through PayPal and as such, your payment information will be subject to the policies of PayPal. Any information provided by you to Wagakki Canada and its affiliations will not be sold or shared to third parties.

Return Policy

Wako’s manufacturer’s warranty:

万全を期して素材を作っておりますが、万が一割れてしまった場合、装飾が剥がれてまった場合は、ご購入一ヶ月間は無償で修理・内容によっては交換を致します、お問合せからご連絡下さい.

但し、明らかに落下や圧力での損傷修復は有償となります。

管頭部に蜜蝋(みつろう)が埋め込まれています、高温場所に放置・保管、厳禁です、溶け出す恐れが御座います。

有機溶剤や洗剤などで洗わないでください、清掃は真水で洗浄し乾拭きしてください。

English:

All care is taken to ensure the best condition and quality of manufacture in every flute; however, in the unlikely case that a flute should crack or the finish is chipped, Wako will repair, or, depending on the damage, replace at no cost the item up to thirty days from the customer’s receipt of the item.

However, if the damage is due to obvious mishandling including dropping, un-natural pressure or force, repairs or replacements shall be at full price to the customer.

Please note that Wako uses natural bee’s wax in the head of each flute. It is not advised to store or leave flutes in warm or hot temperatures as the wax may melt and distort. Though such distortion can be repaired, it can affect the performance of the flute until properly repaired or the wax is replaced.

Do not use detergents or chemicals to wash the flutes. Please wash the flutes in room to cool temperature water and wipe to dry with a soft towel.

Wagakki Canada Return policy:

 

If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, you may return it for a credit for the value of the purchase minus any transaction charges or shipping fees. This credit can be used against a purchase with Wagakki Canada up to one year from the date if issue.
Please contact us within 7 days of receipt of the merchandise to obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization Number (RMA#). Returns will not be accepted without this number.

PLEASE NOTE: Wagakki Canada cannot accept returns of special order, custom made, and certain items sold under discount or sale. Please be aware that all instruments are individually hand crafted and unless something is found to be materially incorrect with your order, we reserve the right to refuse exchange or refund requests.

Wagakki Canada may not accept returns of non-instrument accessories or educational materials if they have been removed form their original packaging. For sanitary reasons, we cannot accept returns of flute cleaning accessories.
Items for return must be in their original condition with all accessories included, the original invoice with the RMA# stated. 

Transaction and shipping fees are non-refundable.

Please return all items (include packing slip with RMA#) by shipping with insurance and tracking, and keep your receipt. 

Please take care to ship item(s) carefully to ensure safe delivery as we are not responsible for returns that are lost or damaged in shipping.

If upon return, items are found to be damaged, they will not be accepted nor will credit be issued.You are responsible for the return postage. 

Some accessories or educational materials which have been accepted for return may be fully refunded rather than issued exchange credit upon request. In such cases, we will refund to your original payment option (PayPal, cheque, money order, electronic bank transfer) upon receiving the returned product in its original condition, minus any transaction fees or shipping costs.

 

Damage or Discrepancies on import from Japan

 

All products imported from Japan are inspected by Wagakki Canada prior to re-shipment to customers. At the time of shipment, the condition of items is verified by Wagakki Canada and should damage be discovered, we will notify you of the delay and issue for a new replacement under the warranty at no cost to you.

 

Damage or Discrepancies in shipment to customer

 

If an order is damaged during carrier transit or is not correct as it was shipped to you by Wagakki Canada, you must notify us within 3 days of receipt of shipment to obtain an RMA#. We will not accept claims made after 3 days. Please keep all items and packaging as delivered for future inspection.

 

Refused or Undeliverable Package


The customer will be solely responsible to pay both the original and the additional return shipping charges if a package is refused or undeliverable for any reason. When the package is received back, credit will be given for the purchase price excluding both shipping charges.

 

 

 

ORDER
General information
 

All item numbers, prices, and availability are valid only for orders through the Wagakki Canada Online shop.The prices listed are in Canadian Dollars and may change without notice. All photos, measurements, and information provided are intended to represent actual product likeness to our best ability.

 

Regarding ONLINE shopping orders:

 

All online purchases made using the shopping cart are usually shipped within 2-3 business days and should arrive within 5-8 business days from the receipt of your order.
We cannot guarantee exact shipment arrival times during the holiday season.
Once your order has been shipped, you are not able to cancel your order.
Placing an order indicates your acceptance of our Return policy.
 

Inventory posted online as ‘In Stock’ is automatically managed and should reflect actual inventory; however, in the event that an ordered item has sold out, we will contact you shortly and cancel your item, or your entire order. If you wish to continue with your order, it will be handled as ‘non-inventory’ or a custom order and we will notify you in consultation with the manufacturer of the approximate timing of manufacture and shipping.

Regarding Order Made/custom orders/non-inventory requests:

 

To order Shinobue that are not currently in the active inventory and cannot be purchased using the shopping cart, simply send a message through the CONTACT page and detail the flute(s) you wish to order. Through email correspondence your order will be verified in a quotation that will show shipping costs within Canada. Please confirm acceptance of the content of your order by email along with payment in full by cheque, money order, or electronic bank transfer. By placing an order you are agreeing to the terms of purchase and Wagakki Canada’s return policy.

Your order will be confirmed through email correspondence and then forwarded to Wako Japan for manufacture. Depending on the decorative work required, flutes may take from 30 to 50 days to complete prior to shipment to Canada. Upon arrival in Canada the flute(s) will be inspected and a confirmation of arrival sent to you prior to express and insured shipment.

Because the instruments are made to order, we cannot accept cancellations once payment is received.

 

Shipping

 

 

All Wako shinobue include shipping from Japan to Canada.

Shipping fees charged are for shipment within Canada.

Orders are shipped via Canada Post. The shipping fee will be estimated based on shipped value to be insured and assumes an order weight up to 1kg. In the event that shipment weight exceeds 1kg, extra charges for shipping may apply. Wagakki Canada will contact you to request further payment of added charges prior to shipping your order. Packages will be sent by Canada Post's ‘Regular Parcel’ service and insured based on value unless you contact us to request another method. Wagakki Canada will not be responsible for damage incurred in uninsured shipments. Sorry, no shipping to PO Boxes or addresses outside of Canada through the shopping cart.

 
Payment options

 

Currently, payments can be accepted by cheque, electronic bank transfer, money order, or PayPal. The orders will only be accepted on receipt of payment.

 

Sales Tax

 

Sales tax will be added according to the Province.

 

Inventory and non-inventory order turn around time

 

Wako flute inventories vary and depending on custom requests or order availability, orders may take a few weeks to a few months to complete. Wagakki Canada will confirm an approximate delivery time once payment is received.

​This site is designed expressly for the purchase of Wako flutes outside of Japan and orders are processed in Ontario, Canada prior to shipment to foreign destinations from inventory.

 

Orders outside of Canada

 

For any shipments outside of Canada, please contact us directly prior to using the shopping cart to arrange a custom quotation including appropriate tax and shipping options.
