Newly arrived from Wako: Yugumo (evening clouds) Shihan-maki #7 flute

Just last week we received a new stock item: the Purple lacquered ‘Yugumo’ (evening cloud) Shihan-maki #7 western tuned (B) flute from Japan. Nicely weighted due to its thick lacquer coat, it holds nicely in the hand. Though sweaty players may find lacquer finished can slip, you may find it useful to use a fabric tape or engrave a lip rest if you do play after drumming, for example. The extra weight of the flute makes it balance well under rapid finger combinations that can unbalance lighter flutes. It’s tones are soulful and clear. The beautiful purple lacquer finish is sure to set this flute apart on stage.

Be sure to check back for sample audio and don’t miss the chance to own this unique item available now at Wagakki Canada online store.
